Lakes

We have a separate page for the man-made lakes, mainly the reservoirs formed by dams, known as embalse in Spanish.

Bavarian lakes

Lakes in Bavaria are notorious for the spectacular scenery from the Alps overlooking their crystalline waters. We undertook a systematic exploration during our July-August stay in Germany in 2022.
