MMXXIV was the year we moved in Sotito, came back to Spain (Fabrice at the ICMM) following our Brexit, organized the first Multiphotonic meeting, the PLMCN24 in Tbilissi (but Fabrice got sick there), published our full characterization of two-photon resonance fluorescence (including the circle of antibunching), an encyclopedic article on excitons, and identified perfect single-photon sources as corresponding to a new (liquid) phase of light. We toured Iceland (we walked on a Glacier and saw Puffins for the first time). We took Sushi and Tingles under custody. This is the year Guille and Lotte got married and had their first child Mara.

We are in Tres Cantos, waiting to get a place to live (Sotito) after our Brexit.

• 12-15: I visit Gothenburg as Therese Karmstrand's opponent of her PhD thesis. There I met Göran Johansson (PhD advisor), Timur Shegai, Jonas (Ola Oscar) Larson and Erik Sjöqvist, among others. From the latter I learned about geometric-phase computing and the Schmidt sphere.
