Korean Food

Korean food is rich and separate enough from other Asiatic variations—even for non-specialists such as ourselves—to deserve a particular mention on our web. It is, to date, the only gastronomy which gave us the occasion to eat something alive, namely, an octopus. This is chopped on the table in front of you and tentacles still move in your mouth as you chew. They are also fan of cooking shrimps and other seafood live in front of you.

Maybe the most famous item is Khimchi, or fermented cabbage. The food is overall spicy but not systematically. A great classic is the barbecued fish and/or meat on individual tables, roasting slices that are then eaten in salad leaves.

They drink Soju instead of Sake.
