@j_bertolotti The way I teach it to students is that one can make new units out of basic ones by taking products (and thus also fractions). As a consequence, some of them become dimensionless, i.e., a radian is really a meter/meter.

Funny that the EU parliament elections do not happen on the same day. My guess is that Brexit will be stronger in UK who votes first, and that this will entice similar anti-EU votes in France and Italy, maybe Germany, not Spain.

So I just learned that the results will be announced after every nation has voted. Makes more sense...

The set of zeroes is countable so the density of probability would be constant almost everywhere (in the sense of measure theory).

we should look into this... actually fairly easy even without dedicated software (I can see how to do this with kdenlive for instance). Also the lightning could be corrected; it's not usually that bad, the room was too dark this time but it can be corrected digitally.

Also nice cookies, thanks Anton for our first (and great) tea seminar (we still have to work on the quality of recording though, now we get the sound right but slides are unclear)

Word! I speak to her in French, and as she doesn't know it in this language ("merlon", though many would incorrectly say "créneau"), she used the Spanish word, that I didn't understand. Asking her to describe (successfully) what it is, made it the 1st time she actively teaches me

Thanks for pointing out this nice work, which we didn't know (it seems they don't know some of ours either, e.g. @CarlosSMW's Phys. Rev. A 90:052111 2014 & Zubizarreta's J. Math. Phys. 58:062109 2017). But great to see nontrivial use of freq. filtering. Will look further into it.
