is lichess.org/@/dpco and me, I'm just lichess.org/@/laussy but nowadays I'm only really playing puzzles; I play games when drunk and/or aready asleep so please don't judge me by my rating it's that of an ape.

I could reach 2300 puzzle rating on @lichess before 2023 is over (with this one lichess.org/training/v6iqo -- not too difficult, what do you think @david__co?) I'm sure 2400 is doable for 2024.

Last paper for 2023. I'll discuss it next year! (but wanted to show you these gorgeous roots of unity, which we will take as a motive for celebration on this side of the screen)

Julia's Christmas poem. She wrote it, although she struggles to read it back (she seems to have auditory as opposed to visual memory)! Dunno where she gets words like "jolly" from.

Merry Christmas everybody. Like dom Balaguère, I will now surrender to the call of the Réveillon and enjoy the Buche de Noël, which my dad used to do by the hundreds, and which I'm struggling to replicate by the unit, even with the assistance from Julia and Luz.

Thank you Prof. @MeteAtature for taking the time to visit us @wlv_uni and giving so much of yourself to inspire and share your insights on Science, Physics and the Understanding of It All. What a journey it has been today! We all enjoyed every minute of it! It's been a privilege.

If you are within 500 miles of Wolverhampton this Thursday, do pass by our Wulfruna building to see a leading scientist of our times open his soul. A rare occasion to hear straight from the horse's mouth about imagination, creativity and the nature of scientific enquiry.
