Freedom of Speech 2°0/ Even when you don't say anything controversial, you have to say it in a way that is suitable to your funder, and "creators" panic at the mere "limitation" of their consensus.

This world where nothing is real anymore... He could have been made to say the exact opposite, or the same thing, which is even worse, as we'll never know which intonation is genuine, and which one comes from the machine. I wonder why he wasn't made to look more at the audience.

In Burgess' 1985, Bev Jones couldn't go that far, he did not even get the "without sound" version. This could be AI generated though, and presented as a deepfake, so our 2024 is indeed already well-beyond 1985.
Fabrice Laussy
Fabrice Laussy @fplaussy · 17 Jan 2024
So it is, in fact, deepfake, even the "author" recognizes that, also saying he didn't try to conceal it, but missing the point that by doing this, he's working for what he pretends to fight against: he's making all form of protest a parody, a satire, a joke. Fuck you Damon Imani.

No, I'm normal :) But I understand this "normality" follows your rating and actually when I fail I usually lose fewer points than when I win, so I'm giving puzzles harsher than my rating. But will try...

Fabrice Laussy @fplaussy · 29 Dec 2023
I could reach 2300 puzzle rating on @lichess before 2023 is over (with this one -- not too difficult, what do you think @david__co?) I'm sure 2400 is doable for 2024.

I don't think I got smarter suddenly but puzzles towards 2400 seemed strangely easy today, e.g., lichess.org/training/2NhfI 14 points for this one! (after reflection, it's probably because Bxf7 is irresistible to most, removing the rook threat, but it's coming back upon recapture)

lichess.org/training/ZK86Y This one is interesting because it shows you shouldn't try to get a clue from the previous moves: the position is even more advantageous after Rac1, which is the weak move, not e5 per se. It seems the algorithm to find puzzles is bogus in this way.

Unbelievable indeed how the PM boasts about chauvinism. I could understand a government would want or would need to do that, but then you'd be quiet about it, not trumpeting. It'll be instructive at the international level if the "Perfide Albion" now plays its cards in the open.
