It is an honor to be part of the quarter-century edition of the @PLMCN__, especially in a position that obliges me: as chair of its Program Committee, the largest and most prestigious ever set up for this conference which promises to be up to its extraordinary expectations.

A special day yesterday as we celebrated the Physics that took place in Wolverhampton for the last 7 years. Here explaining a peculiar type of oscillation that was one of our iconic discoveries.

The most fun was to go down memory line through the collective memory of everybody. So many things I had forgotten. A few I hadn't even realized. A Journey that has been both epic and monumental. Thank you, Friends!

Thank you indeed @kostas_nikolop for tackling ZZ and top particles, the inner working of symmetry breaking, stability of the universe, the meaning of spin, the nature of antimatter and a dozain questions on quantum gravity, for a captive audience which we almost had to throw out!

Here for context, the number of events on the y-axis is absolute: it is really of the order of 10 or 15 counts, obtained over several years of counting! What a beautiful experiment. Really worth the Nobel prize.
