  • 2004. Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Physics in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (3.6 over 4). Honourable mention in the National Award (Mencion especial en el Premio Nacional fin de carrera de Ciencias Fisicas) and first graduate award of the UAM (Premio fin de licenciatura de la Universidad Autonoma de Madrid).
  • 2005-2009. Postgraduate (4 year) FPU Fellowship (run by the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia).
  • 2019-2020: Senior Lecturer in Quantum Optics at the University of Wolverhampton. Teaching Electromagnetism I and II and Physics Foundations.
  • Since 2021: I teach a general Physics Laboratory at the UAM to various Science degrees.
  • Since 2020: "Contratado Doctor" (lecturer) at the UAM.
  • Since 2021: Principal Investigator of the Spanish National project Quantum correlations and interference of interacting photons in two-dimensional coupled light-matter structures (2DEnLight) (PID2020-113415RB-C22) with Francesca Marchetti and Snezana Lazic.
  • April 2023: My second PhD student Eduardo Zubizarreta Casalengua defends his thesis "Quantum light with coherent fields". He obtained the degree with the highest honours or "Sobresaliente cum laude".
