We met Santa today on campus (bottom right). Way to go Physics! We, for one, don't fear nonlocality. Looking forward to catching up with you. Merry Christmas! t.co/rqgoCL82Fd

Physics students @wlv_uni & @PhysicsWolves, if Christmas miracles still exist, here you have the one. It's looking for you: not only your qualification but your background and personal history. Keep some time away from your exams to apply to this. Talk to me. See you in class.

China will probably build the first bundler! At least they still write about it in English. Interesting work by Liu, Huang & Tian in Science China: springer.com/journal/11433

Today is the day: Prof. Alexey Kavokin will deliver a Christmasy @IOPMidlands Lecture on weird Physics on weird ribbons. Join us at 17:00 in MA030 @wlv_uni to share a special moment with us, hear, and if you dare, meet, the most interesting person that I, personally, know.

If God would be on twitter, I guess he'd be someone like @lisyarus, making little universes of various types and forms, playing with wonders and miracles, and with hardly anybody paying much attention.

Bunching: when you get no event for over half an hour and then get a lot of them packed together. A speciality of thermal light and of @nxwestmidlands. One can even speak of superbunching for special types of light and for the line 1.

As per the British rules, I am not allowed to listen to Eduardo's PhD defense, so I fret instead with live Nobel lectures: youtube.com/watch?v=a9FsKq… — not cheated as is prominently featured one of my personal heroes: Daniel Greenberger.

What would you say to a robot? Now you can do that. I was surprised to find myself dragged into a conversation:
laussy.org/wiki/Blog:Fabr… Still not passing the Turing test, though, it quickly becomes irritating like only a Markov chain or a neural network can be.
