Juan Camilo López Carreño defended his Ph. D thesis on "Exciting with Quantum Light" at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid on 22 November (2019).

He reported on:

  • Frequency-resolved Monte Carlo.
  • Correlations in the Mollow triplet.
  • Criteria for single-photon sources.
  • Opus 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 of Exciting with Quantum Light.

He was awarded the Premio GEFES 2020 a la mejor tesis teórica as well as a Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado in "Física de la Materia Condensada, Nanociencia y Biofísica".
