In our field of research, this is the year of J. H. Eberly and K. Wodkiewicz's "physical spectrum"[1], which opens an era of time-resolved spectroscopy. We would generalize those results in 2012 with our Theory of Frequency-Filtered and Time-Resolved N-Photon Correlations[2].
