First gauging of the south-east downspout - 15 May (2025)

From laussy.org's Blog about Meteo.

The weather has been nice with me as it offered various episodes of rain since yesterday, allowing me to get a fairer idea of how much water we collect.

It rained in the morning, more than yesterday, yet still not enough to be measurable. Then in the evening, when it was thought to be sunny for the indefinite future according to the meteo, a more intense rain produced 1.9mm of precipitation in my newly acquired gauge. The south-east collection, which had about 30L left from the previous huge flooding, converged (quite some time after it stopped raining, as there is much inertia of water collection) to about 120L (it accumulated an additional 10L during the night). This gives our first estimate of

$\approx$50L/mm$^2$ for the south-east downspout (?!).

This estimation should be done for all downspouts as this one does not seem to be even the most intense one. And find a way to put error bars on that!
