The Universe

The Universe is all of space and time and everything therein.

Space and time are not exactly the same thing but they are related, as we know since Einstein's special theory.

Because it's all that is from a Physics point of view, the Universe is the scenery for Physicists (and we are, physicists). Note that not everything is the Universe. $\pi$ and $\sqrt{2}$ are not.
