La plus belle des ruses du diable est de vous persuader qu'il n'existe pas.
I always thought that the Edificio Telefónica is the place where the devil lives (New York as suggested in the movie The Devil's Advocate is also a good place but that would be too trivial and trendy, the Devil is subtle). Subtle but not elegant, so a bank or a phone company is no doubt His hideout. Besides, Madrid being a stronghold of catholicism (Rome would have been, again, too obvious), it is the best place for its antagonism to hide, starting with planting a magnificent tribute to its beginning at precisely 666m of altitude, in the Earthly heart of the city.
