München (Munich) is the capital of Bavaria, in Germany. A huge village more than a megalopolis, it kept its strong traditional ties to the alpine heritage of the region as a whole, within the boundaries of the weißwurstäquator. It is also the birthplace of nazism, and was described for this reason by Thomas Mann as, not only a stupid city, but the stupid city. Nuremberg got the bad fame and Munich dodged the infamy, as few people would recognize today the Feldherrnhalle, the Hofbräuhaus Beer Hall, the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (previously, the Führerbau), let alone Hitler's various flats in the city, as meaningful or even related sites for what would revolutionize the world as a whole.
The Theatinerkirche is in itself an highlight of Munich.
In the Hofgarten is the White Rose memorial.
Munich's oldest public museum, from King Ludwig I to host his collection of Roman art.
Landsite of the first Zeppelin (in 1909), it covers the gravels of the bombed Munich during WW2. It also contains also the BWM Welt (Bavaria's most visited attraction), interesting not only for cars but also for the building's architecture.
Located on the site of the 'Brown House', the former party headquarters of the NSDAP [1], this exhibit consists of a collection of short texts documenting mainly the rise of nazism in Munich.
