Of all the gastronomic arts, cocktails are among the easiest to approach for the amateur chef. It's easy to make decent mixed drinks: use good products in exact proportions, and mix. Whenever this involves fruit juice, it's as simple as using fresh fruits. And inspired by the waiters of our Cafetería de Ciencias, we've got just what is needed. Plus good company, but even better, outstanding views, and this can make for a comfortable evening.

A fresh orange juice on the Plaza Mayor costs between 3€ (El Soportal) and (most places on the west wings) 5€. And the view is nailed to the floor. We've been charged 3.85€ for eight kilos of oranges and a baguette at the local market. We propose an enhancement in all respects, bara libre with a panoramic enhanced reality, timelapsed fest, around a selection of the following classics:

  1. Buck's Fizz (Orange Juice + Cava) named after London's Buck's Club where it was invented as an excuse to begin drinking early.
  2. Mimosa (Orange Juice + Cava) invented in Paris four years later, with the breakthrough of the equal measure.
  3. Sex on the beach (Vodka + Peach Schnapps + Orange Juice + Cranberry Juice), to spice up the discussion.
  4. Gin sin (Gin + Lemon Juice + Orange Juice + (dash of) Grenadine) a mixture of citrus on the sourer side.
  5. Screwdriver (Vodka + Orange Juice). The classic's classic.

The party scheduled for sometime this week is by invitation only as we have limited space, but we're happy to accommodate as many as we can who will read this. Just (please) confirm or (simply) solicit your attendance.
