This records my first useful interaction with AI, namely ChatGPT for something serious (as opposed to fooling around, as recorded in my blog).

I wanted to know what is meant by "easy-plane" in this excerpt of A Brief History of Time Crystals, arXiv:1910.10745, 2019.:

Why it is not entirely clear whether this is reliable ("easy" is associated to "low energy" in physics), it seems to capture the bulk of the information. I still worry this comes from "someone" with little idea of the topic, however.
