Panorama photo stitching

I want to explore the making of panoramas, something which is a duty given our privileged position in the heart of Madrid.

One can recourse to smartphone applications and obtain already fantastic results:

but are resolution limited to the specs of his phone. Maybe one can do better. We will try with [hugin], a free GPL panorama sticher for linux.
