26 July 2020

On this day, 26 July (2020), we hiked the flanks of the Abantos, but significantly, after the walk, we went to a terrasse which was the first time after the covid break (since March (2020)). This was also the first time that Luz went to a public establishment, where she enjoyed the admiration of everybody around, reminding Vonnegut's comment on "extended families" (better described in Slapstick of Another Kind but here from A man without a Country):

Everybody who was big enough and steady enough was going to get to hold it, cuddle it, gurgle to it, and say how pretty or how handsome it was.
