The ideal garden
Things we'd like for our garden, as we're starting it:

Orchard
We have various trees (we'll list them at some point) but few fruit-trees, if at all (there is one small pomegranate and something that looks between a cherry tree and a plum tree).
That's a list of possible fruit-trees:

- Kumquat
- Kiwi
and of course, un olivo.
We placed the cherry tree (
cerezo) in the upper part as there is here a window of constant sunlight, which it would be a pity not to take advantage of.
Another tree will go by the fountain (ciruelo or caqui), maybe a kiwi tree behind the pool with other exotic plants and all the others in the bottom part, which has less sun due to other big trees already there, but a lot of space. Limonero(s) by the windows and others scattered, leaving the central spot for the olivo.
This will require a system of irrigation, as the old one (like most things left by the previous people) is broken and worthless, possibly worse than worthless as leaking water in lost pipes, etc. (previous people were a catastrophe for this house).
Fountain
We'd like to have a stone bench in front of the fountain (which needs to be set up again), something like this: [1] (see [2] for more realistic versions, e.g., [3])
Green tunnel
We plan to set up a "red" tunnel with rosas trepadoras at the northeast end.
Everything else
We ultimately want to have real grass, of course (artificial one from the previous owners) [4]. Possibly a shrubbery at the south-west part.
