Faro de Moncloa
The Faro de Moncloa is a telecommunication tower in Madrid which hosts a 92m high viewing platform now opened to visitors (?!)
It affords one of the precious panoramas of Madrid. The view above is from the Cerro de los Ángeles.
Gallery
We made many attempts to visit it, since the early days of its existence. We could actually access the deck only on 21 August (2018) (with Camilo).
The faro is a familiar sight from Madrid.
Here from the Manzanares, that we strolled till our visiting time.
The tower is 110m high, the deck itself is 92m high.
It is 180° only but you still get almost 360°visibility from the back windows.

The panoramic desk is excellent.
Unfortunately, the windows are not as clean as they should.
The calle de la Princesa from the Arco de la Victoria till the tall building of Plaza de España.
The Arco built by Franco to celebrate his victory in this harshly fought part of the city, is 49m high.

One of the most easily recognizable panoramic landmark of Madrid.
Together with other high buildings, they draw the Gran Via in the sky of Madrid.

The museo del traje and the Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España.
Without any famous landmark, Madrid takes an air of a south-American megalopolis.
