That went okay but is not very practical, so I stopped putting there papers that I was reading as part of a theme or series. Still, I do need to store some which I need to read "on their own" in such a list. To make this simpler and more convenient, on {{thisday|7|September|2025}}, I changed the rule and keep only one list, which is reversed. I also don't strike out those which are read, whether they are linkable provide this information. The way you reverse an ordered list in [[mediawiki]] is not itself uninteresting. I use a <tt>Module:ListReverter</tt> for that.

Papers to read

From 31 December (2023) onward, I'm starting the new "tradition" of keeping track of the papers I need to read. By "read" I mean, really, "study" in some depth (skimming through a paper is the lot of the researcher), and typically record a summary and/or thoughts/comments on the work itself (which can be accessed by clicking on the title).

That went okay but is not very practical, so I stopped putting there papers that I was reading as part of a theme or series. Still, I do need to store some which I need to read "on their own" in such a list. To make this simpler and more convenient, on 7 September (2025), I changed the rule and keep only one list, which is reversed. I also don't strike out those which are read, whether they are linkable provide this information. The way you reverse an ordered list in mediawiki is not itself uninteresting. I use a Module:ListReverter for that.
