This is one paper of a series on the dynamics of Bimodal Nanolasers.[1] It involves the dynamics of Superthermal Light, and measurements of photon-number distribution (PND).
In these systems, the switching of the mode showing coherent emission has gathered substantial interest because of potential technical applications, such as optical flip-flop memories, tunable sensitive switches [19,20], and a simple realization of nonequilibrium phase transitions [21,22].
