The Kenilworth castle is an important historical landmark in England, for its connections throughout centuries to important development of the kingdom, including to King John and other leading figures of the medieval times, up to Elizabeth 1 for which a lavish extension was built. It got slighted (burst open) after the civil war and restored by the pioneer of motor industry John Siddeley who eventually gifted the property to the states, now under care of the English heritage.
We visited the site at the occasion of Inma and Julio's visit in the UK (January 2023) on 4 February (2023).
