Emu

Emu is a consortium specially assembled to make the leap from the theoretical insight behind the leapfrog processes, to a life-changing technology:

Our first action was to submit a proposal to the Horizon-EIC-2025-Pathfinderopen, to realize the first generation of quantum optical light sources based on the concept of harvesting virtual multiphotons:[1][2][3]

The proposal has been submitted on 19 June (2025) and is currently under review by the EIC.
