Polariton interactions in semiconductor microcavities. B. Deveaud in C. R. Phys. 17:874 (2016).  What the paper says!?

This page is still in progress.

This is a review on polariton interactions. It mainly «report on resonant experiments» so does not address effects of the exciton reservoir (or precisely wants to avoid them).

There is a nice coverage of polariton bistability.

Regarding pump-probe and its value for spin-resolved measurement of interactions:

When the pump and probe pulse are co-circularly polarized, the energy shift of the probe pulse reflects the interaction of polaritons with parallel spins, while the energy shift of the probe for a counter-circular polarization configuration is associated with the polariton interactions with anti-parallel spins.

Experiments have been down witn InGaAs with the following advantage:

the experiments can be realized in transmission mode, which allows obtaining a much higher signal to noise ratio thanks to the suppression of the back-reflected light from the excitation laser.
