The Avon
The Avon is a river in England, that of both Bath and Bristol. It also passes by Bradford on Avon. It ends through the avonmouth into the Severn as the latter itself becomes the Ocean.
It should not be confused—although it might have been by people naming things back in the time—with the Avon river in Salisbury, nearby, to which it is however not connected.
There is also the Avon gorge and, apparently, a county name after it.
