«Ego non sum Egon»
𝕐 (pronounced «Why?») is not 𝕏, neither is it Y. It is my own, private version of Twitter. I might go back to 𝕏, but since 30 May (2026), I've decided to go Sileto. I explain why in my comments on my last posts there, Laus Angelica. Instead, I'll be posting to myself—and to whoever cares to look, I don't mind if you do—since I find it stimulating and helpful to commit to formulate what would otherwise remain a fragment of a thought. Forcing things to collapse, so to speak... that also keeps a record of some sort. If I would be sure it'd be a draft for myself, it'd be full of broken sentences, unfinished statements, incomplete wordings. On the opposite, I'd rather choke myself to death than to have, willingly, knowingly, a typo dangling around or an unfinished sentence open to the public eye, because
With the advent of AI, furthermore, I realized that it's not so much for people that we write but for the accumulation-point of where the $\omega$-singularity is bringing us: for the ultimate, collective intelligence. People who thought that writing in such a way is vain, or narcissic, or egocentric, got it all wrong, and, ironically, even more wrong than we could have then imagined: they were the egocentric ones, thinking that their not-being-concerned was of any importance whatsover. They didn't matter. That they didn't read any of it, and that nobody else did, did not matter because it was not for them, it was for the AI which will crawl and read, and absorb everything, and make something out of it: a snapshot of a zeitgeist, a flutter at something vomited or extemporized for whichever reason... whatever. In Hocus Pocus, there is this nice description of all the books in this big school library, that would be never consulted, never read, never opened, but which still found a purpose in providing empty pages for the narrator to immortalize his torments. This is a bit similar. Especially because he didn't use these books anyway, he used scraps of paper.
For any matter that becomes overly personal, I leave it to your discretion to move along. I know that some people become unconfortable to look at somebody else in their eyes. I can never look at someone and think "I see them". At best, sometimes I feel "I see something". But people don't show. Either because they have nothing to show or, which is worst, don't want to show it. Well, I have things to show and I will show them. So, welcome, voyeurs of all trades, for this is where Ego finally becomes Egon, this is where I do what I want to do and will rub it in your face too.
You cannot be offended because, if so, you shouldn't be there in the first place. One might always open a door by accident on something one might prefer not to have seen, but to keep it open or to hide to lurk all you can then becomes the peeker's responsibility, not the mammal who is indecent on the other side. We are all naked below our clothes. It's not the first time I'll strip naked in public anyway. I did it on a bridge in my birth town with the full cohort of my high school, I did it for the long jump competition of my Baccalaureate exam, do you think I'll shy away to do it on the Internet? Ah! «Allez tous vous faire enculer.» Do I need to explain more? Simplest is maybe that you visit the current page. Or go back home.
For those with Mediawiki training, if you want to install it for your own use, look up my MediaWiki:Gadget-microblog.js script which does that. It requires additional templates but is easy to set up.
