The line between what has already happened and what has not, for a list kept in chronological order — News above all.
You are not meant to place this by hand. Module:Nowline does it, on every render:
{{#invoke:Nowline|split|today={{CURRENTYEAR}}-{{CURRENTMONTH}}-{{CURRENTDAY2}}|1=
* {{thisday|14|August|2026}}: something that happened.
* {{thesedays|16|18|October|2026}}: something that will.
}}
| Called as | Draws |
|---|---|
{{nowline}} |
the quiet divider: past ↑ — hairline — ↓ future |
{{nowline|top}} |
the hot rule that opens what is happening today |
{{nowline|bottom}} |
the hot rule that closes it |
{{nowline|now}} |
🔥 in the margin, and Happening now! |
The module picks between them: nothing on today gives one quiet rule between the last item past and the first to come; an item whose dates straddle today is bracketed by the hot pair instead, with the 🔥 beside it. Several at once are bracketed together.
Calling it by hand still works and simply draws what you asked for, wherever you put it.
