Saint-Preux (say, his Concerto pour une Voix) puts in music that miracles are still possible in the modern world, and that some heavenly beauty and inspiration remains for us from the legacy of our forebears, who also believed in them. And miracles have their own unique style.

Reality stranger than fiction. Gmail now makes automatic AI summaries of your correspondence. There are threads you shouldn't try this on, though... it makes you feel be part of a psychological drama postmodern science fiction novel.

for the record, the fringes' period doesn't depend on the excitation point. Here is David's animation showing that, from Phys. Rev. Lett., 116:026401, 2016. [ dx.doi.org/10.1103/PhysRe… ]

Working on some picture for my chapter on polaritonussy condensates, hoping to make a point finally clear regarding the hype around so-called polariton blockade. Duck you suckers!

That's the final figure. If interested in the details, look up the upcoming "Short and Long Range Quantum Atomic Platforms" edited by Mistakidis, Hung and Kevrekidis for the Springer Tracts in Modern Physics.

As imperfect as international laws are, they remain our only hope for any geopolitical stability in a world riddled with problems. Trump failed badly by also succumbing to the ease of brute force and looting. Maduro is not the biggest loser today. We are.

Reviewing my past 1001 tweets for my 3rd Scheherazadean cycle, I realize that the String Quartet No. 5 as interpreted by the Zorá String Quartet—which had been listed as private [never do that!]—is back for everybody. Enjoy Zizai Ning on the cello before she disappears again!

You make the most beautiful thing and then you make it private. One should really archive the full Internet!

Today I would say that it's the String Quartet n°5 that plays Zizai Ning. What a strange feeling to see a beautiful artist enter an orgasmic trance on their instrument. Musical interpretation is the ultimate, most violent expression of eroticism. Everything else is zoology.

What was left for me of 2025... Wishing everybody a plentiful New Year, full of hopes, projects and ambition, even if none of that goes anywhere. It doesn't have to be good, only to be the best you can do.
