Anthony Fauci

Anthony Fauci (24 December (1940)) is an immunologist who was a central figure of Covid as well as VIH although in the latter case he didn't raise to worldwide attention.

He is interesting for what he represents: corruption and lobbying in science. And how this seems to correlate strongly with incompetence, greed and hubris. It's fantastic how he emerged as a cult, an idol, on the one hand, and how he enjoyed that so much, on the other hand, having lost any sense of moderation and distance, to the point of referring to himself as "The Science." His audience in Congress in July (2026) was one of the most shameful, pathetic intervention of this type—and they are plenty. The release of his diaries gave the chance of delving into the shallow depth of the character. A disgrace to Science, politics and gullibility of people. Anybody who once admired this guy can rightfully question himself as being so much of a good "citizen" (in the sense of Gheorghiu) as to having become a slave. Except, maybe, Joan Baez. She might have been in love, in which case she's forgiven everything.
