Quantum Polaritonic Meeting

Update: To date, this meeting is not scheduled anymore (the funding we had applied for was unfortunately not granted, on several occasions).

We are planning to host a "quantum polaritonic meeting" to discuss this nascent field that attempts to bring to polaritons the potential of quantum information processing. Recent experimental claims of simulation of the XY Hamiltonian [arXiv:1607.06065] and of creating and making interacting a polariton Fock states [arXiv:1609.01244] suggest that the era of quantum polaritonic is finally starting. This meeting brings together senior and early-stage researchers from most major groups active in this problem, to debate and envision the future of this exciting and promising research area.

At this stage, this is still a project pending approval from suitable sponsors. We are currently expecting support from the Royal Society to organize a two-days event. If you are keen to also support this meeting, please contact us!

Tentative date, April 2018.
Tentative location: London.

We have already gathered a list of first-rate contributors.

Session 1: Theoretical Principles

Session 2: Polariton blockade & statistics

Session 3: Experimental Implementations

Session 4: Future Prospects
