This is the laptop computer I got on 10, December (2012) when the previous one died of a hard disk failure.
It is a Toshiba Satellite P850/855 model, with the following specs:
Installation couldn't proceed neither with kubuntu directly nor with knoppix but worked flawlessly with ubuntu 12.10.
