The Hamiltonian may then be taken to be trivial: H=0.—Interference of two Bose-Einstein condensates. S. M. Yoo, J. Ruostekoski and J. Javanainen in J. Mod. Opt. 44:1763 (1997).
Juha Javanainen is a theoretical physicist working on atomic BEC (with works relevant to quantum optics).
He is the type of people I naturally feel associated with, for stories such as the one where his son detonated a home-made bomb in the backyard, for which Javanainen served community service and was put under probation [1].
He interests us particularly for his work on phase symmetry breaking in condensates, where he first predicted multiphoton symmetry breaking:
He concurs with us that interactions are not necessary for BEC and that this is driven by pure Bosonic effects instead.
