All this beauty is of God is the motto of the Isle of Wight, and what Beauty indeed! This biggest island of the United Kingdom, south of Portsmouth (itself also on an island) and Southampton is known as "England in miniature". Although we had it floating nearby for the two years of our stay in Southampton, we only went there once at this occasion. We returned for a workshop in October (2016). We will return over and over as this miniature remained too vast to fully embrace, and we remained thirsty for the needles and starving of Saint Catherine's oratory.
We had much less time for visiting around, but we still could reach the southernmost point of the island.
