David Stoler †25 April (2018) is theoretician in the field of quantum optics, with important contributions in describing squeezed states, from which he foresaw a way to produce antibunching from squeezing.[1]
Born in New-York to immigrant parents from Russia and Poland, he also was an accomplished jazz musician (sax). According to his daughter
