Compost is the magical process whereby nature turns waste into soil. It's chemistry from mother Earth herself. It's the never-ending cycle of continuous replenishment, turning putrefaction into rebirth.
We tend to compost with the help of Black soldier fly larvae, which are good for compost rich in nitrogen (kitchen scrap) and not overly hot composts (less than 40°C, which we hardly excess).
We manage to occasionally produce compost tea (when raining a lot, soaking through the tumbler).
Homemade compost (mainly from kitchen scraps) is rich in nitrogen. To fertilize trees, it can supplemented by bone meal.
