Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding, literally, feeding your child with breastmilk, is a practice which was replaced by the horrendous baby bottle (and, even worst, pacifier) with the belief industrial milk could somehow be better (this is long known not to be true) and/or that it helps to liberate the woman from the slavery of child-parenting.

Not only it is now known that breastmilk is far superior in terms of health and quality, there is also ample evidence that this is better for the intellectual and psychological development of the child. Breastfeeding is recommended for several years (at least 3 or 4) and should be stopped when the child so expresses the desire to, or agrees to (for instance because the provision of milk is not enough).

[[Julia], of course, wast breastfed.
