The IOP (Institute of Physics) holds Evening Lectures whose purpose is to attract the interest and sensibilize the wide public to the importance of Science in general and Physics in particular.
We ran such lectures at the University of Wolverhampton from 12 December (2018) till 14 December (2023). The respective programs appear below. Since 2020, many of these lectures have also een recorded on the IOP YouTube channel.
Fabrice gave a traditional Nobel lecture each year in October to honor the scientists and science nominated on each occasion.

I gave my Nobel Lecture this year (on Mourou, Strickland and Ashkin's use of lasers), but it was not yet part of the IOP series. However, the chair of the West-Midland IOP Committee was there and suggested running it under its patronage from now on.

Two other talks were scheduled but had to be canceled due to the Covid pandemic. The talk by Martin Khechara has been rescheduled for the 2022-23 edition.
