Trip in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions

Day 1: Madison & Devil's lake

We had slept in Waukegan. We visited Madison. "East Bluff trail" in the Devil's lake. Went to 43.554685, -89.485850 by mistake. Made a pause at night by Montello. Got blocked on the road at 43.848017, -88.974417. Finally arrived at the motel.

Day 2: Lake Winnebago

Oshkosh & "High Cliff park": Red bird trail, Indian Mound trail, Lime-Kiln trail. Then on the road again, stop at Waupaca and have coffee in Fat Little Gretchen.

We stopped at 44.954809, -89.694412 to get oil. Ate in Tomahawk. Arrive in Ironwood.

Day 3: Apostle islands

Breakfast in Maplewood's restaurant in Ironwood. Arrive in Bayfield. Boat trip.

We tried to stop at Cornucopia 46.857833, -91.103500 and Herbster 46.834600, -91.262467

We tried to eat at 45.687933, -92.293167 but too many people smoking, so we carried on till Luck.

Day 4:

Breakfast at Julia's Java.

Interstate park.

Stop at a Wisconsin farm at 45.401496, -91.920486
