Cider

Cider is the alcohol made from apples. It is most popular in UK but also in France (especially Brittany) and Spain (especially Asturias & the Basque country), where it takes fairly different forms. It is the favourite drink of Elena.

One of the most catchy custom of Asturias is L'Escanciáu of cider:

The largest concentration of cider in the world is in la calle Gascona de Oviedo, with 13 "sidrerías" in what is known as the bulevar de la sidra and a must-go destination of the Asturian capital which, if you don't go there, voids your visit.
