Jacob Ngaha is a theoretical physicist, currently a Post-Doc in the
project working with me at the ICMM (since 23 March (2026) (?!)), previously doing his Ph. D with Carmichael, with whom he became the first quantum Māori physicist,[1] and the one to christen the field in this language (tataunga) « which means “countable” or “quantifiable”». He is also a knitter, a black belt in karate, a jazz and 80s Japanese pop enthusiast as well as old-History expert. When I met him, he had a book on Middle-Age History at hand.
