Mountaineering

We are really merely scrambling but this more accurate word would not work as a title.

Our main place of choice has been the Bavarian alps, which we explored almost systematically during our stay in Germany in the years 2010-2012.

We then favoured for geographical reasons the Sierra de Madrid or the larger Sierra de Guadarama, as well as Pyrenees and the Asturian mountains, although the latter are, due to distance, not quite so regular.

With our 2017 move to Wolverhampton, mountains of interest include the Welsh Cambrian system and the Peak district as part of our hiking the British mountains and hills (we have to include hills as the best British efforts in this Art have not been on their own land).
